Doro

general manager

Doro has been in the food and beverage industry for 35 years. His exceptional general managing skills have been built from the ground up. His experience began as a server at the Fond de la Tour and he worked his way up to become General Manager at the Belvedere. First hand experience is what we find to be an exceptional quality in our employees and we hope you do too! Say “hello” to Doro; he will be sure to show you what a quality human being and hard worker he truly is!

Alfredo

Executive Chef

Executive Chef Alfredo Anaya was lured into the culinary world when his passion for this industry and for food was recognized at an early age. Alfredo went on to study the culinary arts at the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago, Le Cordon Bleu program where he learned to develop his own unique style and flair. He continued his career at exclusive restaurants and hotels such as Double Tree, Crowne Plaza, Chicago City Centre, Harry Carry’s, and Levy Restaurants just to mention a few.

Over the years, Alfredo worked under influential leaders of the culinary industry who helped shape his style and depth of knowledge. Alfredo’s culinary philosophy and passion reflect the growing trend towards a healthier and down-to-earth lifestyle. Working with neighboring farmers to seek out the finest in regional and local organic produce, is the essence of his cuisine. Alfredo’s preference is to allow the natural flavors of food to express themselves.

In addition to cooking, Alfredo’s passion is to develop younger chefs to discover their own talents in the same way that he was encouraged. Chef Alfredo believes whole-heartedly in staying active, continuously learning and always having fun.

Jodi

Sales & Events Manager

Jodi is your gal! A coordinator for over 15 years and a detail orientated person for life. She graduated from Marquette University in Marketing and Management and continued on to the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago achieving a degree in Culinary Arts. She married Brian in 2014 in your family home and they now have two cute sons, Jax and Cooper! Her passion is planning events from start to finish. Culinary art is not only a part of her job but amongst other things her favorite thing to do in her free time. Growing up she loved to throw a great party and who knew that her passion would one day turn into a profession that she loves!

Cathy

Event Coordinator

Cathy has been in the restaurant and hospitality industry for over 30 years and has been with the Belvedere since they broke ground in 2004. At the age of 18, she started as a server and has worked her way up to being an excellent event coordinator for us here at the Belvedere. She has been married for over 30 years, has three adult children, two granddaughters and three grandsons. She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago majoring in Liberal Arts Studies.  She has planned many spectacular events in her day and truly anticipates the opportunity to plan your next party. Whether it be a wedding, shower, corporate event, holiday party or wine tasting, she’s done it all!

Caroline

Event Coordinator

Caroline has been an event coordinator at Belvedere since 2005. She attended Fordham University in New York City where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing. She then went on to receive her Master’s Degree at Loyola University in Chicago. Caroline is the head graphic designer and social media manager at Belvedere and also specializes in full service off premise caterings. Caroline held her wedding reception at the Belvedere in December 2008 and is happily married to her husband, Luke. They have three adorable and active children: Chase, Eloise and Olive. In her spare time, she designs invitations and fun party products for all the party planners in her life. Check out her page on social media @PoshPapetiere. Caroline loves to plan events and is eager to work with you on your special day.

Monika

Event Coordinator

Monika has 20 plus years of Bridal experience, working closely with clients to identify their dreams and provide customer satisfaction. She has vast experience in planning various types of events, brings her eye for design and sense of style to each and keeps up with current trends.

Monika has planned and executed weddings, showers, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, galas and non-profit fundraisers.
Whether, its an intimate affair for 50 guests or an elaborate celebration for 500, she and the staff will ensure your wedding or event runs smoothly.

She is happily married to her husband, Ted. They have a 7-year-old son, Joey.
Monika enjoys working with all the lovely couples to make their dream weddings come true.
All her clients are special to her, and she will work hard to make your event a success.

Joanna graduated from the JD University of Fine Art and Communication in Czestochowa, Poland. She is dedicated to her client’s wedding plans and she knows how to use her knowledge and her expertise built over the years to make their planning journey and the day of the wedding memories cherished forever.

Joanna takes care of her every client with an open heart and the warmest smile. She loves her job and is always very excited to chat about your unique event plans. Welcome to Belvedere… Joanna is here to make your wedding day unforgettable!

Jessica

Event Coordinator

Jessica has worked in the restaurant and events industry for over 7 years. She has a variety of experience in management and coordination for amusement parks, banquet halls, country clubs, restaurants, fundraisers and college campus events.

Graduating from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in Event Management and a Minor in Public Relations, Jessica brings a new sense of passion, enthusiasm and persistent attitude towards all events she coordinates. Being detailed oriented with a dedicated mindset is the reason she went into event planning. Growing up serving, bartending and working in many different fields of customer service was only the starting point of her career in hospitality.

Jessica strives to succeed with each client’s vision to ensure a captivating experience with each and every event! She will work twice as hard and fast to show all of her abilities along with her persistent attitude in every task.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to have my wedding reception. Everything was beautiful, the food was fantastic and the service we received was outstanding!

When looking for a wedding venue, we hoped to find a formal venue within our budget, with good food, an open spacious floor plan, and hotel accommodations nearby. Belvedere Banquets had it all! We looked at only 3 venues and we knew Belvedere was it. We met with Jodi but encountered several other employees along the way and all were professional, personable, responsive and welcoming. The cocktail hour and space for cocktail hour was perfect. The grand ballroom was beautiful and had plenty of space for our guests. And the food was EXCELLENT! All of our guests have been raving about the food - a big ticket item on our checklist. I would highly recommend Belvedere Banquets!
